Volunteers are involved in almost every aspect of the Hospice. They contribute to the quality of care for patients and their carers in many ways. Volunteers help to create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere which can lessen peoples' initial fear of a hospice situation.

What Does Volunteering Involve ?

• being a valued member of a team

All the above will enable you to achieve personal fullfilment and experience job satisfaction.

• home support sitting

No experience is needed as full training will be given.

Anyone Can Volunteer
• parents with young children
• retired people
• students
• young people looking to improve their job prospects
• those in part-time or full employment
• all travel expenses can be reimbursed
• we only ask you to spare between 2 and 4 hours per week.
